Want to improve your drivers' performance?
Reduce your fleet running costs and collision rates
Reducing speed-related incidents
This interactive workshop encourages drivers to adopt a personal awareness strategy to prevent lapses leading to misuse of speed, which cause a third of all collisions. Drivers will gain an enhanced appreciation of the need to manage speed, recognise posted limits and select a gear appropriate to the prevailing conditions.

Drivers who observe, anticipate and plan experience fewer incidents and, in turn, your company will benefit from a reduction in fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance, reduced collisions and insurance premiums.
Recognise the commercial and financial costs of an incident and explain how driving behaviour can impact on other road users.
Explain the benefits of adopting a speed-aware action plan and how to identify varying speed limits in the absence of any signs.
Develop eco-safe driving skills and the importance of good observations, anticipation and forward planning.
Explain speed limit rules for different vehicles and roads, identify causes of speeding and the potential consequences of an incident or prosecution.
Every staff member had a positive response to the training attendees felt safe to discuss their individual behaviour and to partake in exercises and ask questions…I highly recommend TTC’s programmes.

Reduce your drivers' risks
Training will reduce driver risk, collision rates, fleet costs (insurance premiums, fuel consumption, vehicle wear and tear) and reputational damage.
Meet your duty of care
Our courses are designed to help you meet your duty of care obligations.
Improve your drivers’ on-road competence and knowledge
- Causes and consequences of speeding
- Hazard perception, observation and forward planning
- Motorway rules
Anybody who drives a vehicle for work purposes, including cars, vans, LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle), LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) or PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle).
The workshop is facilitated by a professional driver trainer who will fully engage with participants to maximise the learning experience and draw out their views and opinions.
Behavioural aspects of driving
Analyse the causes and consequences of speeding – a common factor in a third of on-road collisions according to police collision stats.
Safe driving strategy
Failing to look properly is a key contributory factor in collisions. We encourage the use of COAST which develops the driver's hazard perception and forward planning skills.
Effective speed management
Remind drivers what the UK speed rules are, how to work out what the limit is when it is not too apparent and the importance of appropriate speed.
