The Academy lets you access a range of great free learning events for your continuing professional development (CPD). Plus, you’ll be invited to quarterly meetings where you will find out the latest developments and get to meet local like-minded trainers.
How to become a TTC road safety trainer
First, browse our current career opportunities and apply to become a road safety trainer.
If successful, we’ll welcome you to the team and enrol you in TTC Trainer Academy so you can enjoy free events straight away.
You’ll get access to our online hub Alaska, to browse, select and book yourself as a trainer on any available scheduled course.
All the details and course materials are on Alaska where you can also submit your invoices for payment.

I unfortunately needed to find alternative work when I became registered disabled in 2022 and applied for online training with TTC. I have been a trainer with TTC since 2018, I started as a NDORS speed Awareness course trainer, What works for me is the flexibility provided from TTC I can do courses online or classroom which meets my needs as in balancing life and work, over the years TTC have expanded and other avenues have opened for me, currently I also do corporate work which includes on road assessments, latest avenue I have pursed is Drink Drive courses, which I am finding enjoyable and rewarding in helping people change behaviour and lifestyle. Another big factor of working with TTC is the management is easily approachable and helps where they can thanks David Drink-drive manager and Tim Training manager.
