Why legal professionals choose TTC
TTC piloted the UK’s first ever Government-backed rehabilitation scheme for drink drivers in 1993 and we’re still breaking new ground today with the drug driving scheme we’re trialling in the North-east.
Courses across the UK including Northern Ireland
TTC is the UK’s only nationwide provider of approved Drink Drive Rehabilitation Scheme (DDRS) courses and the course for drink drive offenders (CDDO) in Northern Ireland. Defendants don’t need to guess if we work in their area. We do.
Flexible dates, easy-booking and payment options
We offer online and classroom courses at dates and times to suit any busy schedule, even during the evenings and at weekends. We also offer flexible payment options to help people spread the cost as well as technical assistance for getting online and speedy resolution to problems.
We comply with the DDR National Protocol Agreement
Although this is true of most DDR providers, it isn’t always the case. We pride ourselves on staying up to date. The protocol requires courts to provide defendants with up-to-date information on all approved courses and providers. We provide leaflets to courts and solicitors free of charge.
No charge for bringing an interpreter or carer
All our classroom course locations have disabled access and parking, and some of them have hearing loop capabilities. If people need to bring an interpreter or other carer, we don’t make any additional charge. Some providers do.
Post-course support to maintain positive behaviour
Many people tell us they are sorry their TTC course has come to an end. We don’t just leave them there. We give attendees access to a free post-course anxiety management course to help sustain their positive new behaviours as well as discount codes for personal morning-after breathalysers.
Friendly, non-judgemental, interesting and effective
Our interactive and engaging workshops have been designed with insight from psychologists, communicators and road safety experts to engage with and motivate learners, making them three times less likely to reoffend.
More than 98% of course participants rate TTC trainers as excellent.
