TTC is at the forefront of delivering specialist training programmes for taxi and private hire drivers on behalf of local authorities.
Using a combination of in-vehicle coaching, workshop training and written competency assessment, our courses help councils meet their legal, moral and financial duty of care, while raising driver standards and improving relationships with private hire operators.
Workshop sessions can be run online or in-person and cover a range of issues around passenger safety, satisfaction and experience including non-punitive complaint remediation, safeguarding and disability awareness.
They are suitable for operators, office staff, passenger assistants or drivers and could also be used as part of an induction or periodic training program to support the duty of care process within councils.
With around 900 approved trainers nationwide, TTC can deliver courses anywhere in the UK, either at a local site, one of our many training venues or conveniently online. Weekends as well.
We can also work with local authorities and licencing officers to create bespoke training to meeting their own driving standards and requirements along with all assessment results and reporting.
