TTC shortlisted finalist for What Van? Awards 2021

News article | December 2020

With the What Van? Awards event on 10th December fast approaching, TTC Group is pleased to have been shortlisted as a finalist amongst five nominated organisations for this year’s new Technology Award for our TTC Continuum platform.

This wide-ranging new Technology Award category has been introduced to recognise a new product, app or software that demonstrates ease of use and improves processes and operations for customers that adopt it.

The TTC Continuum platform is an online driver risk management solution that delivers the complete lifecycle of compliance, administration, risk management and learning.

TTC Continuum empowers any organisation to easily and quickly manage their entire driver community, from a single platform, which is flexible and scalable to meet individual requirements.

What Van Awards 2021 TTC Group Finalist Technology

The TTC Continuum platform dynamically monitors and provides accurate driver management information data, stored centrally within online platform, tracking real-time performance of every aspect of an organisation’s driver and fleet estate. Each driver and manager have their own dynamic driver risk profile created, providing tiers of data at a driver level, as well as higher level views of teams, depots, sites and organisation-wide risk performance.

A ‘Risk Score’ and training needs analysis is calculated for each driver, using data from a driving licence check, risk assessment, training and telematics (where used by the customer) which dynamically changes the risk score of the driver.  TTC Continuum tracks driver compliance, tailoring interventions and training to reduce the number of poor driving events being recorded, such as speeding.

Live management reporting dashboards provide visual, real-time insights into fleet and driver activity, supported by comprehensive standard report options and custom report building facilities.

Ensuring that the TTC Continuum platform is a fully mobile solution, accessible to both drivers and managers can access our Driver App from any smartphone device, providing a convenient channel by which to record work journeys; record driving behaviours and deliver personalised improvement programmes as necessary; and record vehicle condition and scheduled/required maintenance by directing drivers to preferred suppliers.

TTC Continuum Connected Vehicle Data

A ‘world first’ advancement to TTC Continuum has been TTC Group’s partnership with Collision Management Systems Ltd (CMS). Combining CMS’s telematics data aggregation technology with TTC’s driver risk management solution via its new Continuum Dynamic Data Engine, the initiative provides managers and users with a real-time, personalised driver risk management programme.

The joint proposition allows fleet operators to connect any existing devices such as connected vehicles, telematics units, mobile apps or connected cameras to the system which then aggregates the information into a standardised format for comparable and consistent insights. These developments and strategic partnership ensures that the TTC Continuum platform is completely data-source agnostic, no matter the connected systems being used by any organisation.

Whilst the coronavirus pandemic has prevented a physical awards ceremony to take place, TTC Group are pleased to see modern technology solutions being embraced to allow the What Van? Awards 2021 to take place in a virtual format.

TTC Group is looking forward to the What Van? Awards 2021 event on the 10th December and wish all finalists, across the comprehensive range of award categories, the very best of luck.
