Commercial Course Booking Terms and Conditions
Effective December 2023
The terms and conditions below apply to TTC 2000 Ltd (“TTC”, ”us”, “our”)’s ‘open’ digital Driver CPC periodic training and (non-NDORS) digital Driver Skills Workshops. Please note: Clause 12 applies specifically to periodic Driver CPC Training Courses.
In these terms and conditions:
- “You/Your” means the company, business or individual making the booking under these Terms and conditions;
- “Delegate” means the individual booked to attend the course;
- “Booked Course” means the course that You have booked for the Delegate to attend.
1. Course Booking
- The email address You provide as your contact email address at the time of booking, will be used to confirm Your booking. If You have not received confirmation within 1 day of making the booking, please contact us on 03330 113 113 (Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00). It is Your responsibility to make TTC aware immediately should any of Your contact details change. We recommend regularly checking Your emails including those within any ‘junk’ folder for any updates.
- Updates and joining instructions will be sent via email to the email address that You have provided as contact details for the Delegate. In addition, log in details for any digital course will be sent to the same email address 24-hours prior to the start time of the Booked Course.
- Important: You are obliged to ensure that the Delegate is aware of the contents of these Terms and conditions including, without limitation, the requirements set out in clause 7.
- Application to Individuals: Where You are an individual who is acting on behalf of yourself and not through a business, an employer or a company you are otherwise engaged by please note that the courses provided under these terms will be deemed to be provided for the purposes of Your current or future trade, profession or business and You will not therefore be considered a consumer for the purposes of current legislation regarding the supply of services.
2. Course Fee / Payment
- Courses booked online must be paid in full at time of booking.
- Course prices may vary and are correct at the time of booking. In the event of any price change, if You have already booked Your course then Your fee will not be changed retrospectively.
3. Rescheduling a Course
- Subject to availability, You can reschedule any Booked Course free of charge 14 or more days prior to the date of the Booked Course.
- Where it is less than 14 days before the date of the Booked Course You will not be entitled to reschedule your booking, however, if You contact us using the TTC email address provided on Your booking confirmation, requesting a rescheduling within 24 hours of making the relevant booking, TTC may, at its sole and absolute discretion, agree to reschedule the Booked Course.
- If in the event that the Delegate is unable to attend due to illness Your course fee will not be refunded. In such circumstances, You may be permitted to transfer the Delegate’s place to another person (subject to eligibility) who can attend, complete and be credited for the course without paying an additional fee. Please note that once the place is transferred, the person who attends/completes the course will receive the certificate and not the person originally booked.
- To make a request to transfer a Delegate’s place under clause 3(c) to another eligible person You must email us using the TTC email address provided on Your booking confirmation Transfers will be made at TTC’s sole discretion.
- These terms and conditions shall continue to apply to any rescheduled or transferred booking.
- In the event that TTC is unable to deliver one of its courses, we will endeavour to give as much notice as possible. The Booked Course will be rescheduled as soon as possible at no extra charge. If the Delegate is unable to attend the rescheduled date, then Your fees will be refunded in full. TTC shall not be liable or responsible for any direct or indirect financial losses incurred by You and/or the Delegate which is as a result of any of its courses being cancelled or delayed.
4. Course Cancellations
- If You cancel the Booked Course 14 or more days prior to the date the Booked Course was due to take place Your course fees will be refunded in full.
- If You cancel the Booked Course less than 14 days prior to the date the Booked Course was due to take place no refund of any Fees You have paid for that Booked Course will be made to You.
- If You have booked a course less than 14 days prior to the date the Booked Course was due to take place and cancel, You are not entitled to a refund of any Fees You have paid for that Booked Course however, if You contact us using the TTC email address provided on Your booking confirmation, requesting a cancellation within 24 hours of making the relevant booking, TTC may, at its sole and absolute discretion, issue You with a refund.
- Where You have taken advantage of a promotion providing a discount on fees for booking a minimum number of places in the same transaction and You subsequently cancel one or more of those places, TTC shall have the right to charge for the remaining places at the full non-discounted fee rate for each place and shall be able to deduct this, without further notice, from any refund that is payable to You pursuant to these terms and conditions (if any). Where applicable, please see terms of offer for further details.
- If TTC cancel the Booked Course for any reason that is unconnected with You and/or the Delegate, at any time, Your course fees will be refunded in full.
5. Special Requirements
- Every effort will be made to accommodate any special requirements providing that TTC has been notified of specific requests in advance of booking by contacting us using the TTC email address provided on Your booking confirmation. If You have failed to notify us prior to booking, TTC will not be held responsible for failing to meet any Delegate’s needs, and where a Delegate is unable to access the course as a result Your course fee will not be refunded.
- If a Delegate requires personal care during the duration of the Booked Course, they will need to provide their own carer. You must notify us using the TTC email address provided on Your booking confirmation if this applies to any potential delegate before booking.
- If a Delegate needs a British Sign Language Interpreter (BSL) or a Speech to Text Reporter, please notify us at the time of booking and this will be provided free of charge. However, if a BSL interpreter or a Speech to Text Reporter is booked and the Delegate fails to attend the course, there may be a re-arrangement fee and a charge for the interpreter or reporter to attend a further course booked by You.
- If TTC have arranged a BSL Interpreter for a Delegate, that Delegate cannot use a mobile phone or a tablet to attend the course as they will not be able to see the BSL Interpreter on their screen. Use of a Laptop/Desktop PC required.
- If the Delegate’s command of English is such that they would have difficulty in understanding the course, it is Your responsibility to provide an interpreter (minimum 18 years of age) who has photographic ID. Any Delegate who, in TTC’s reasonable opinion, is unable to fully understand any Booked Course will not be permitted to attend or complete the Booked Course and the fee paid for such Booked Course will not be refunded.
6. Identification
- On the day of the Booked Course as part of the registration process, it is a requirement that the Delegate produces photographic identification. Digital or photocopies will not be accepted.
- If, for personal or religious reasons the Delegate wears a form of head dress, or item of clothing on the course that will partially or completely cover their face You must notify TTC in advance of the Booked Course so that any necessary arrangements for identification can be made. Failure to notify us in advance may lead to the exclusion of the Delegate from the Booked Course. In this instance the fees You have paid for the Booked Course in question will not be refunded.
7. Digital Course Requirements
a) In order to attend any of our courses, the Delegate must have access to a:
- Desktop or laptop personal computer or;
- Tablet* or;
- Mobile phone* (Driver Skills Workshops only – please note that this device is not permitted for Driver CPC Training Courses)
- Chromebooks are also not permitted for any course as they do not support Zoom fully which may prevent a Delegate from completing a course.

All devices must have:
- Internet access
- Web cam
- Microphon
- Speakers or headphones
- Stable internet connection
- At least 8.5 hours of battery life or be connected to the mains for the duration of the Booked Course.
b) You must ensure that You or the Delegate have tested Your or their equipment and network to be used to attend the Booked Course, to be confident in its use prior to attending the Booked Course. You must ensure that You or the Delegate has downloaded the Zoom app in advance of attending the Booked Course, and it is recommended that the Delegate starts a test meeting with a colleague/family member to ensure the devices to be used are working and that they are familiar with the controls.
c) You are required to notify the Delegate that it is their responsibility to ensure they have enough internet capacity to enable the devices they wish to use for the Booked Course to successfully complete the course and/or to check this with You.
d) Protecting the Delegate’s and Your personal or confidential information is of the utmost importance; therefore, You must ensure (and/or require that the Delegate ensures) that nobody other than the Delegate can view their screen or hear the course content. If more than one person from Your organisation is attending the course, device/screen sharing is not permitted. You must ensure that the Delegate undertakes the course in a private room (free from distractions) with their screen facing a wall to prevent the content of the course from being visible. It is a requirement to be able to concentrate and engage fully for the duration of the course, therefore a quiet space is essential, to complete the course.
e) The Delegate must attend the Booked Course free from noise distractions, including but not limited to, pets.
f) If the Booked Course is 3 hours or less, the Delegate may complete this in a stationary vehicle providing that they are not in the driver’s seat, and that they are parked in a safe place with no one else present. For longer courses for own safety and comfort the Delegate will not be permitted to complete the Booked Course in a vehicle and will be removed from the Booked Course if this is suspected to be the case by TTC and/or their trainers. In such cases Your course fees will not be refunded.
g) Throughout the full Booked Course, the Delegate will be visible on screen to the trainer and other participants.
8. Attending / Completing a Course
a) The Delegate is required to log on at least 30 mins before the course starts, to allow ample time for registration. Delegates joining late will not be allowed to attend the course and Your fees will not be refunded.
b) If the Delegate does not successfully connect to Zoom for any reason, they will be excluded from the course and Your fee will not be refunded.
c) Satisfactory course completion is dependent upon attendance by the Delegate throughout the full course and making a full and positive contribution. The Delegate must remain clearly visible on screen throughout the course. There is no test involved. If the Delegate leaves the course before it finishes, or if our trainer deems that they are not participating and/or they are asked to leave, it will classify as a non-completion, and Your fees will not be refunded.
d) The Delegate must remain respectful and attend in a fit state, this includes (but is not limited to) the following requirements:
- The Delegate must wear appropriate attire and be presentable, as not to cause offence to other participants on the course.
- Consumption of alcohol or any evidence of alcohol or use of illicit drugs will result in removal of the Delegate from the Booked Course immediately and Your course fee will not be refunded.
- Delegates must remain respectful to staff and other course attendees; any abusive, threatening, or disruptive behaviour at any time, will result in immediate exclusion of the Delegate from the course and Your course fee will not be refunded.
- Virtual backgrounds/filters are not permitted during Booked Courses.
- The Delegate must ensure that there are no images or backgrounds visible that may cause offence to another participant.
e) If a Delegate is late back from a designated break period for any reason, they will be removed from the course and Your fees will not be refunded.
f) All electronic devices must be switched off and placed out of view for the duration of the Booked Course unless the device is a mobile phone or tablet being used by the Delegate to complete a Booked Course. The Delegate must otherwise ensure that devices are set to ‘Do Not Disturb’ to avoid disrupting the Booked Course.
g) No unauthorised person will be admitted to the Booked Course, this includes children. The trainer will be unable to admit the Delegate onto the course if suitable childcare arrangements are not in place, and Your course fee will not be refunded.
h) If the Delegate has a requirement to breastfeed a baby during the Booked Course please notify us prior to booking using the TTC email address provided on Your booking confirmation.
i) If the Delegate loses connection during the Booked Course and is unable to re-join Your course fee will not be refunded.
j) All courses are locked for use outside of the UK for security purposes. Delegates may still be able attend, but You must inform TTC at least 72 hours prior to the course start time to allow us to unlock the course for those Delegates.
9. Privacy
- We are committed to ensuring that Delegates’ privacy is protected
- The filming and/or recording or reproduction or posting on social media of any part of a course is strictly prohibited as this infringes privacy laws.
- Please note that all digital courses are recorded for training and monitoring purposes. Recordings are stored securely and deleted after 30 days.
- Anyone using any type of recording equipment, is liable to be excluded from taking any further part in the Booked Course or any of our other courses.
10. Copyright
- Copyright and all other intellectual property rights in the training materials, content, logos, trademarks, and graphics (“Work”) is vested in TTC. The reproduction or transmission of all or part of the Work, whether by copying or storing in any medium by electronic means or otherwise, without the written permission of TTC, is strictly prohibited.
11. Data Protection
- Your and any Delegate details will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act (2018), the General Data Protection Regulation (2018) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (2003). All personal information we receive about You and any Delegate will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy. Clause 12 will apply in addition to this clause 11 as regards personal information processed in relation to periodic Driver CPC Training Courses.
12. Attending a periodic Driver CPC Training Course
The following additional terms apply when attending a Driver CPC course:
- The Delegate must produce their valid photocard driving licence and valid/expired Driver Qualification Card (DQC) in order to attend the course. If the Delegate has a paper licence, then they will need to produce this, along with their DQC Card. The Delegate will be refused entry if they are unable to provide the appropriate ID and Your fees will not be refunded.
- Only vocational drivers eligible for periodic Driver CPC training course will be permitted to attend this course. If You have booked for a Delegate but based on presentation of their photographic ID are not eligible, that Delegate will not be permitted to attend, and Your course fee will not be refunded.
- Participants can only attend the same training course once during their five-year periodic training cycle, as any repeated courses attended may not be added to their CPC training record and repeated course fees will not be refunded
- All information supplied will be held by TTC and protected according to our legal and regulatory requirements. See our privacy policy for more information.
- We will use Your and Delegate information to: upload completed periodic training hours on the Government’s Recording and Evidencing (R&E) database.
- We are legally required to hold some types of information, for example data about Delegate’s periodic training, to fulfil our statutory obligations for up to six years.
- The Delegate’s information will be shared with DVSA to monitor and manage the training uploaded by TTC to the DVSA’s Recording and Evidence (R&E) database, and where necessary shared with EU member state authorities to confirm Driver CPC entitlement abroad.
