Young Driver Intervention

The Young Driver workshop is a classroom-based safer driving initiative, which raises awareness of the ‘Fatal Five’ for young drivers and those likely to share a vehicle with a young driver.
The workshop aims to enhance knowledge of key collision causation factors and avoiding them being involved in similar incidents themselves. TTC’s Young Driver workshops offer an evidence-based behavioural change intervention based on the very latest road safety research, behavioural change techniques and road casualty figures.
20% of 17 to 24 year olds get involved in a road collision, with 1 in 4 young drivers having a crash within their first two-years of driving.

TTC's award winning Young Driver Workshop was recognised by First Car's Young Driver Road Safety Awards.
