Team travelled almost 2,000 miles during the annual RoadPeace Challenge and raised over £1,000
Walking the talk: Nearly 2,000 miles for road safety
An intrepid team from TTC Group donned their walking boots once again, to take part in the annual RoadPeace Challenge, a week-long initiative held in May during UN Global Road Safety Week. This year, the TTC team collectively travelled an impressive 1988.5 miles in just seven days. Symbolically covering the breadth of the Group’s contracted police force areas across Great Britain, from North to South.
Supporting RoadPeace: raising funds and awareness
Now in its fifth year, the RoadPeace Challenge is a vital awareness-raising and fundraising event for RoadPeace, the national charity for road crash victims. To date, the challenge has raised £160,000 for the charity, alongside significantly increasing public awareness of road harm. TTC Group’s involvement underscores its commitment to honouring lives lost, supporting bereaved families and promoting safer roads for everyone.
