TTC receives SME News awards for Best Road Safety Distance Learning Provider 2020 and Award for Excellence in Business Resilience 2020
TTC took part in the fourth annual Scottish Enterprise Awards, recognising SME businesses whose efforts have yielded top-class products and services for the diverse clientele found across Scotland.
The awards were delayed in December 2020 due to the pandemic and social distancing restrictions, before taking place virtually as an online event in February 2021.
Each year, SME News host awards aimed at specific regions or industries looking to showcase some of the key players for doing great things. Whether it be using technology and data in new ways, offering something radically new by way of a product or service or for great services provided to SMEs, the awards are designed to raise awareness of business success.
Jim Kirkwood, CEO, TTC Group (pictured) said: “We at TTC Group are delighted to have received two awards in recognition of the excellent work that we continue to deliver to improve road safety throughout Scotland.”
“TTC works with commercial and public sector organisations to help manage road safety and driver risk. We also deliver road safety training courses on behalf of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) and the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) for those that have committed driving and drink drive offences throughout Scotland.”
“The impact of COVID-19 during 2020 continuing into 2021 has meant that businesses have had to adapt and remain flexible in order to continue operating and this Business Resilience award celebrates how TTC Group has welcomed innovation in technology as well as the desire of our panel of national trainers to develop new skills in being able to move our training delivery away from a classroom environment, transitioning to virtual classroom online learning.”
