confusedA client recently undertook a driving licence check on a person who presented a valid driving licence as of August 2016. A check at DVLA however revealed the driver had amassed a large number of convictions.

In the spring of 2013, the driver was sentenced for eight charges of driving whilst disqualified plus eight charges of having no insurance.

In the spring of 2014, was again convicted for driving whilst disqualified and again in the summer for driving whilst disqualified and having no insurance.

The driver has served any resulting sentence and now has a full driving licence. The client’s insurance policy excludes the driver due to their convictions.
