Celebrating 15th Anniversary of TTC's Head Office
Press Release | October 2022
TTC Group celebrates the 15th anniversary of the official opening of their Head Office, situated in Telford, Shropshire.
The Head Office was officially opened by HRH Princess Anne on the 3rd October 2007 as part of a royal tour across Shropshire. Arriving by helicopter on TTC’s Head Office grounds, the Princess was greeted by local nursery children, as well as TTC’s employees.
TTC Group’s CEO Jim Kirkwood, reflects:
“The organisation’s journey is an impressive one, a real success story for the local area.
Being based in Telford, Shropshire, we have benefitted from access to our most important resource, our people. We enjoy a diverse range of people and skills, whose talents have helped make TTC the leading road safety organisation in the UK.
We celebrate the facilities that our Head Office continues to offer, supporting the growth of our business as we continue to expand our services and contracts throughout the UK."
"Excellent infrastructure helps support the availability of our services online, while local transport infrastructure ensures we are highly accessible to our customers and other business premises throughout the country.”
Starting from humble beginnings, the family-owned business always had bigger plans for the future. When Graham and Jenny Wynn first secured the 9,000 square feet of land on a developing Telford business park in Hadley Park, the foundations were being laid for a business that today delivers road safety and risk management to over 1million people each year.
HRH Princess Anne unveiled a plaque to commemorate the official opening, before spending an hour having a tour of the new facilities, meeting and greeting TTC employees throughout her visit.
Kathryn Keane (pictured), a valued member of TTC Group’s Accounts Team remembers:
“Having joined TTC back in 2005 on a Modern Apprenticeship Scheme, I remember moving into our brand-new offices and meeting Princess Anne like it was yesterday. Having worked in different departments, I am pleased to continue to be part of the businesses’ success.”
