Very useful experience<\/strong>
The instructor was fun, not at all scary and very informative. I learned quite a lot that I wasn’t aware of particularly the reason for yellow backed signs. It would benefit the nation if all road users had a refresher course every 5 years or so. A course for everyone<\/strong>
I must admit I was not looking forward to participating with this but can honestly say it was an enlightening experience. You get to think about your actions and the correct way to deal with issues that may cause you to speed. <\/strong>Our host, John, was absolutely brilliant. He taught without preaching, spoke without judging, added humour without making it comical, anchored important elements in a way that made them memorable. He gave clear expectations in such a pleasant manner that I didn’t want to let him down. He coached us perfectly and I could have listened to him all day long. Well worth attending even for experienced drivers
<\/strong>The course tutor was friendly and made the whole experience interesting. The facts about speeding distance and braking distance was a real eye opener. Another fact is that 93% of all traffic accidents are caused by the motorist!! He didn’t take any prisoners and made other attendees aware that they were expected to take part or be deleted from the course. When I was first given the opportunity to either pay a fine or attend the course I was really reluctant especially when the course lasts 2 hours and 45 minutes, however the time passed really quickly and I’m sure everyone took something away from the course. Excellent training course<\/strong><\/strong>
The woman taking the training course was welcoming, friendly and efficient. Everything was explained perfectly and sensibly. She made me feel comfortable in spite of the fact that I had speeded in a 30mph zone on the A303.
