Licence Bureau’s education of sixth formers in Hertfordshire on crucial road safety messages has again been well received during Road Safety Week 2019.

Ian McCarthy, Director of Sixth Form at John F. Kennedy Catholic School said, “Over the last two years the Licence Bureau have lead sessions to our Year 12 students as part of their enrichment programme. The sessions are extremely useful and provide powerful information on the topic of road safety as a pedestrian or a driver. The feedback from the students has been brilliant and we will be using the texting and driving video in assembly to Y13 pupils”.

Licence Bureau has run its interactive road safety workshop sessions for the past seven years during Road Safety Week targeting sixth-form students in Hertfordshire with key safety messages, either when travelling in a vehicle or as a cyclist/pedestrian, to ensure they adopt a positive attitude towards road safety.

“Our job is to help and support companies to ensure they are 100% compliant when their drivers and vehicles get driven on company business,” explained Malcolm Maycock, managing director of Licence Bureau.

“To extend this expertise and take road safety to sixth formers who are just about to learn to drive, or who have just passed their test is an extremely rewarding experience.”
