Wear It Pink Day Fundraiser
News Article | November 2021

TTC Group employees continue to take part in fundraising initiatives by organising a Wear It Pink Day fundraising event, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
Even though typical fundraising has been made somewhat more challenging during the current pandemic, TTC staff have continued to fundraise for nominated charities.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Wear It Pink Day, providing an excellent opportunity to help raise money and awareness of breast cancer - Which helps make life-changing research and care happen.
Everyone throughout the business got involved throughout Wear It Pink Day, organising fun games and afternoon tea.
Pink was clearly the colour of the day, with TTC Group staff wearing an impressive range of pink clothing. Recognising that breast cancer does not discriminate and affects both men and women, it was great to see everyone getting involved.
The team managed to raise more than £200 on the day, with TTC Group committing to double any funds raised, totalling an impressive £462 being donated to Breast Cancer Now.
Through Wear It Pink Day events, Breast Cancer Now have successfully raised £36million to date. Unfortunately, due to the Covid pandemic, since March 2020, the doors to hundreds of breast cancer community support events have had to close, as well as medical researchers having been kept out of their labs for 100 days or more.
TTC Group are humbled to be able to help support the Breast Cancer Now charity, who are determined to make up for lost time and continue to make the breakthroughs in research that will continue to drive forward progress.
