Now in its sixth year, the SME UK Enterprise Awards continues to recognise organisations of all sizes who are endeavouring to bettering business in their industries. Whether it’s by nourishing rich internal cultures to promote employee satisfaction, by offering next-level customer service, or through an enduring dedication to innovative products – British SME’s are truly the lifeblood of the country’s economy and business landscape.

SME News prides itself on the validity of its awards and winners. The awards are given solely on merit and are awarded to commend those most deserving for their ingenuity and hard work, distinguishing them from their competitors and proving them worthy of recognition.

This is the third consecutive year that TTC Group has received a UK Enterprise award from SME News, recognising our on-going commitment to improving road safety.

TTC is appointed by West Midlands Police to deliver National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) courses to driver offenders, including the National Speed Awareness Course, delivered in both online and classroom environments.

Having initially secured the NDORS contract with West Midlands Police in 2010, through our dedication to delivering excellent levels of service to our customers, as well as the ability to increase our capacity to reach more UK drivers than ever before, TTC’s partnership with the Force continues to grow from strength to strength.

In addition to our Police contract in West Midlands, we offer a diverse range of road safety courses including Driver CPC, Drink Drive Rehabilitation, corporate driver training and Voi E-scooter safety riding skills sessions.

Jim Kirkwood, CEO, TTC Group (pictured) commented:
“We at TTC Group are delighted to have received this award for “Most Educational Road Safety Company – West Midlands”, in recognition of the excellent work that we continue to deliver to improve road safety.

This is the third consecutive year that TTC has been honoured with an SME Enterprise award, recognising the importance of our work in the West Midlands, and throughout the UK to help make our roads safer.

2022 has been a hugely successful year for TTC Group, which has seen us retain significant road safety contracts with key Police Forces, as well as extend our Speed Awareness delivery to become the biggest NDORS Provider in the UK.

Delivering social value is a top priority for our business, supporting local charities and community initiatives that really make a difference.  Through delivering road safety courses from Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise owned venues, we help to ensure regular revenue streams are kept within local communities, to be re-invested in supporting those most in need.

We sponsor Midlands Air Ambulance events to support their amazing contribution to keeping people safe, as well as fundraise local and national events such as this year’s Andy Cox Challenge, where our staff volunteered to walk, hike, cycle or run a 14km distance (8.7 miles), to represent each of TTC's 14 contracting Police Forces.”
