TTC gains IIP ‘We Invest in People’ accreditation

News article | November 2020

TTC is delighted to be awarded the Investors in People ‘We Invest in People’ accreditation.

Having undergone several months of assessment, information gathering and surveying staff opinions throughout the business, we are pleased to have achieved the ‘We Invest in People’ accreditation.

This new accreditation is the latest on TTC’s on-going accreditation through Investors in People (IIP) since 2009.

The accreditation is in recognition that our organisation’s principles and practices around supporting people are in place and that everyone understands how to use them to make work better.

Mary de Villiers, Head of Human Resources for TTC Group, shared:

“We believe that the success of TTC Group begins and ends with people. If we make work better for our colleagues, we make our culture stronger, healthier and happier. Because TTC Group understand that it’s people that make work better.”

Mary led this accreditation process, providing IIP assessors fully transparent access to employees throughout the business.  An organisation-wide staff online survey took place throughout September, which received 87% response rate, was used to not only benchmark our current position, but also build a future plan for how we can continue to develop our approach.

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said:

“We’d like to congratulate TTC Group. Being accredited with ‘We Invest in People’ is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places TTC Group in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.
