Leading behavioural change expert Dr Fiona Fylan talks about strategies to increase visibility for vulnerable road users such as cyclists and pedestrians

These include her latest project – a collaboration with Australia’s Queensland University of Technology, people’s fears about cycling and the concept of biomotion, which research shows makes cyclists and pedestrians 2 or 3 times more visible at night than if they were just wearing reflective strips or lights.
