Adopt a safer driving strategy which includes route planning, safety checks, urban/motorway driving and parking and manoeuvring.
Explain the factors affecting driver performance including fatigue, stress, mobiles, technology, health, driving in the dark and drink/drugs.
Recognise the attributes of a good driver, develop eco-safe skills and use observation and forward planning when approaching potential hazards.
Identify speed limits for vehicle/road type including dual carriageways, develop speed recognition skills and explain smart motorway rules.
