Promoting quality & opportunity
As a leading road safety training organisation in the UK, TTC Group now offers a diverse range of driver training opportunities to our customers, with a community of over 600 driver trainers.
The TTC Trainer Academy oversees the induction, skills development and quality assurance requirements for offering driver training courses for the following areas:
National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS): Courses including the National Speed Awareness Course, delivered to the public that have been referred by the Police following a driving offence. Trainers are required to hold an NDORS Trainer Licence, issued by UKROEd to deliver NDORS courses.
Drink Drive Rehabilitation Scheme (DDRS): Following a drink drive conviction, magistrates courts may refer offenders for a DDRS course. This behaviour change intervention is aimed at reducing drink drive re-offending rates, whilst reducing the offender's driving ban period by up to 25%.
Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC): Lorry, bus and coach drivers are all required to complete 35-hours of Driver CPC training in a 5-year period. As a DVSA Approved Training Centre, TTC offers a comprehensive range of 7-hour and 3.5-hour Driver CPC modules for professional drivers.
Fleet & Commercial Driver Skills Training: As part of TTC's Continuum driver risk management solution, we offer a range of driver workshops, practical training and on-road coaching to improve the standards and skills of commercial drivers.
