National Standards Cycle Instructors

We are looking for Nationally Qualified Instructors with a passion and enthusiasm for delivering cycle training to help deliver a range of cycling and e-scooter courses nationally with competitive rates of pay. Contract for self-employed services.

We are currently seeking to broaden our practical cycling instructor panel throughout the UK to meet the growing demand of our on road training courses for professional drivers looking to better understand what it is like to be a vulnerable road user and with a track record built over 25 years, educating over 600,000 road users every year we have the experience and expertise in delivering programs that really make a difference. 

Our core aim is to protect people on the move and improve the well being of all road users and demand for our FORS accredited Safe Urban Driving schemes and e-scooter courses are growing quickly, so this is an exciting time to join our trainer panel to deliver these valuable and innovative schemes. Working with you on a freelance/self employed basis we can offer competitive day rates of £175 as well as the opportunity to broaden and vary your training week across our Corporate business and attend CPD events.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • National Standards Instructor Qualified status or the 1st4sport Level 2 Award in Instructing Cycle Training
  • Current First Aid at Work qualification
  • Full UK drivers Licence with no more than 6
    penalty points
  • Safe Urban Driving; Train the Trainer course
  • Knowledge of Driver CPC, CLOCS or FORS standards
  • Access to the internet and good computer literacy to access our online booking system for course information and administration

We will be conducting video interviews throughout the year with work available immediately, depending on location with a short induction/training period provided to get up to speed with our systems and practices.
