Electric Vehicle (EV) Driver Trainer

Our fleet and driver risk management division is ambitious and fast growing with innovation at its core, to support this we are looking to work with qualified Driver Trainers with experience in Electric Vehicles to meet current and future demand for a rapidly growing market on a self-employed basis throughout the UK.

Our fleet and driver risk management division is ambitious and fast growing; we are always interested in hearing from professional trainers who have the drive to be part of a forward-thinking and dynamic team working with some prestigious clients delivering traditional and innovative driver training on a self-employed basis.

We are looking to work with qualified Driver Trainers to deliver our Electric vehicle schemes, currently in car but with the future potential of vans and heavy goods vehicles to support drivers into adjusting to Electric and Hybrid vehicles and the differences these bring versus traditional vehicles; managing risk and making UK roads a more efficient, safer and greener place.

The ideal candidate:

Full UK Drivers Licence (essential)

DVSA Fleet registered ADI (essential)

Qualification in Teaching/Training such as AET, PTTLS etc (essential)

Completed the Energy Saving Trust (EST) Electric Vehicle course

Hold Professional Indemnity/Public Liability insurance cover (membership of DIA/MSA accepted)

IT competencies to use and update our online booking system, knowledge of video conferencing systems is also an advantage.

An ability to engage and maintain a positive rapport with a wide variety of delegates and driving abilities.

We run a diverse selection of training schemes with competitive rates of pay, expenses and offer a comprehensive induction and training programme which is completed remotely with ongoing CPD opportunities and the ability to work across our businesses and their individual schemes, subject to the necessary training.
